We are looking for someone who:
- is a registered journalist or has proven experience in journalism
- is familiar with the main social platforms (Meta Business Suite, X, LinkedIn)
- has experience of managing a press office
- has a good knowledge of the English language;
- knows how to use the following software: Canva, Kirby (or WordPress) and - preferably - knows at least the basics of MailChimp, Adobe Photoshop, Premiere and Illustrator.
Sensitivity to the issues that Mediterranea Saving Humans deals with is a prerequisite for effectively carrying out this work.
The Head of Communications Office will work under the coordination of the Head of Communication of Mediterranea Saving Humans, supported by a team of volunteers to manage social profiles and other supporters.
He/she will be responsible for
- Coordinate the management of Mediterranea's social profiles and website
- Contribute to the design and management of communication campaigns proposed by the Board
- Study, in consultation with the Head of Communication, new communication formats through the Association's social profiles.
- supervise the association's current communication projects (Med Report, Echoes, Navtext newsletter)
- manage the association's press office
Ccnl Uspi-Cisal for journalists or equivalent for non-registered with the possibility of permanent employment. Salary and level of employment will be commensurate with the candidate's experience and skills. The opportunity we are offering is full-time and exclusive.
100% remote working, with the need for travel and missions to follow the activities of the association, with 100% reimbursement of accommodation and transport costs.
