MEDITERRANEA Saving Humans supports, endorses and invites you to participate in the World Congress for Climate Justice, which starts tomorrow in Milan, in the spirit of a "First International" of climate movements and with the aim of uniting climate movements, activists and intellectuals from all over the planet to build bonds against fossil capitalism.

We are on board with this experience because nothing more than the climate crisis shows the absurdity of thinking within the narrow confines of borders and the self-destructive nature of this approach, which contributes to its injustice. No problem of this increasingly interconnected world can be solved within the cage of national sovereignty, least of all climate warming, the mass extinction of living species and all the phenomena linked to the only atmosphere we have, to the common heritage of biodiversity and to this home for so many that is the planet.

We are also on board because there are people from Bangladesh, from Central Africa and from many corners of this planet who have been forced to leave their villages, their towns, the places where they were born, because of environmental degradation.

They too are part of the humanity on the move, with which Mediterranea has been fighting since its inception against the regime of borders, refusals, detention centres and deportations.
